We’re back, and we’re laughing!

On Friday 13th July 2012 we paid a return visit to the Holly Lodge nursing home in Bucknall. While we were there we helped to banish those Friday 13th blues by reintroducing Laughter Yoga to a group of 7 residents and a few members of staff. All who took part said that they enjoyed it, and most asked if we could come back again!

Thanks to all the residents and staff at Holly Lodge for letting us spread the word of laughter and for their enthusiasm during the session.

Laughter Returns

On 12th June 2012 we held a Laughter Yoga session at Fenton Day Centre. This was the third session that we have held there, and as before the learners all had a good time and enjoyed taking part. Thanks to all the learners for being so enthusiastic and to Linda for letting us spread the word once again!

Happy New Laugh!

Happy New Year everyone! Why not start off the New Year on a positive note by coming along to our Laughter Yoga sessions at the Moat House hotel? The big news for 2012 is that the Moat House sessions will now be held every Sunday from 10:00 to 11:00, so there’s no reaason not to come along and laugh your way through the year!

New Year, new laugh!

Our January Laughter Yoga session at the Moat House hotel has been moved to Sunday 8th January 2012 at 10:00. It’ll make you feel better and is good for you too, so why not start the New Year with a smile on your face?

In the meantime, enjoy the ho ho holiday!

Where in the city?

We are always trying to find new ways to spread the word of Laughter Yoga throughout Stoke-on-Trent & North Staffordshire. Why not tell us where you would like us to hold sessions? If you know somewhere that would be a good place to hold a Laughter Yoga session then let us know and we’ll see if we can hold a session there. Also, what time of day would be best for us to hold sessions?  Let us know, and together we can get the city laughing!

Carry On Laughing!

On 31st October 2011 a taster session was held for 9 learners at a WEA class at Hanley Fire Station. The learners, none of whom had tried Laughter Yoga before, responded very positively on the whole, with some requesting details of further sessions. Thanks to Rachel and the learners for letting us spread the word of Laughter Yoga even further.

In addition to our blog and Twitter feed you can now find us on Facebook! Our page is at http://tinyurl.com/stlaugh; why not “like” us and keep in touch with the world of Laughter Yoga?
